RTE have informed us that the material they recorded on the offical opening of our new grounds on the 16th May will be on 'NATIONWIDE' programme this friday evening at 7pm on RTE 1. So make sure everyone get yourselves comfortable and set your recorders as tis is a very rare oppertunity to see a GAA club opening new grounds live on TV

The u12 boys finished their league campaign on Thursday with a defeat to Raheens. This is the lads second year in division and they've really enjoyed the experience so well done lads for all your efforts this year
11/07/2010 Community games
Well done the the Monasterevin u12 girls Community games team the won their second successive Leinster title on Saturday in Eire Og Carlow. They beat Rhode in the semi early on Saturday and beat Kilmore of Wexford in the decider and now go on to the All Ireland semi final which will be played on the 14th and 15th of August in Athlone. Ballykelly is well represented on this panel with Alanna McLoughlin, Aine Nash, Amy Nash, Julia Marron, Sarah Hanlon, Claie Melia, Claire Earley, Aishling Kehoe, Caoimhe Holligan, Anna Delaney and Laure Cleary all playing their part in this victory. The rest of the panel is made up of 8 girls from Kildangan and 1 from Monasterevin so well done to all the players and management team Patsy Kelly and Sharon Melia.

The senior girls suffered a defeat in their final league when they went down to a strong Carbury sideon Thursday evening. The league matches have now finished and the girls have qualified for the semi final after topping the league after all games were played. They wellcome Kilcock to Stephen O Rourke Memorial Park on Tuesday evening for the semi final. All support would be appreciated

Our u12 boys went down to a strong Eadestown team in their second last game of their season. This is the boys second season in division 1 and the lads are really enjoying the experience at the highest level.
04/07/2010 Senior Men
Our senior men finished their Division 3 campaign with a disappointing 6 point defeat to Clogheroinke on Sunday afternoon. The lads must now regroup and prepare for the next round of the championship which resumes next month.
28/06/2010 Senior Ladies
Our Senior ladies charge for league honours shows no sign of stopping as they recorded another away victory against Kilcullen on Tuesday evening. With the match level at half time the girls clicked into gear for the second half and ran out easy winners with the final score being Ballykelly 4.12 Kilcullen 1.4. The girls have won all their games in division 3 and remain on course for promotion with Ritchie, Pat and Killian keeping the girls feet firmly on the ground
